As a vet assistant, you'll work to promote a friendly and professional environment where emphasis is placed on quality medical care, client education and teamwork. 

You'll be instrumental in providing hands-on support to clients, patients and doctors with:

• Admitting pets for appointments (history, weigh & record vital signs)
• Patient restraint during procedures and examinations
• Assisting Veterinarians and Vet Techs during appointments.
• Cleaning and maintain the exam rooms.
• Preparing Vaccines, medications and lab specimens as directed.
• Fear Free environment( We practice Fear Free and low stree techniques!).
• Educating clients about routine care and wellness protocols.
• Adhering to hospital’s safety and wellness regulations.

Requirements to be considered for this position:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year Handling/Restraint with dogs and cats.
• Knowledge & proficiency with dog and cat restraint
• Strong customer service & problem solving skills
• High school diploma/GED required
• Assistant Certification a plus but not required.
