This is a wonderful, privately owned, small animal practice that has been serving the community for over 40 years! The hospital currently has 1 FT doctor and 1 PT, with the view to bring on another full or part time DVM. The hospital has a great support team, with some members being there for over 25 years, and the hospital always ensures there is at least a 2:1 tech/dr ratio! Hospital appointment times are generally 30 minutes, but can differ depending on the doctors requirements. Hospital equipment highlights include: digital x-ray, ultrasound, cold laser, surgical laser, 5 exam rooms, IDEXX inhouse labs, cornerstone electronic medical records. The hospital is happy to consider both new graduates as well as experienced doctors, and can be very flexible when it comes to the doctors requirements, for example someone who doesnt want to do surgery is more than welcome to apply! Oh and not to forget NO WEEKEND working! Full time schedule is just 4 days during the week.
