Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to join our team at Gentle Care Animal Hospital. You will work alongside Dr. Bruner, a seasoned practitioner with over 25 years of experience, in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our clinic offers state-of-the-art equipment, including dental radiographs, a new x-ray machine, laser therapy, ultrasound, and the ability to see urgent care appointments and provide boarding services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive, diagnostic, and medical care to animals.
• Perform surgeries and dental care procedures.
• Work collaboratively with our team of skilled professionals.
• Educate and support pet owners in managing their pets' health.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with clients.
• Stay current on advancements in veterinary medicine and integrate them into practice.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary state license in Kansas.
• Current DEA License preferred but not required.
• USDA Accreditation preferred but not required.
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care and client communication.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
