How can I build my resume on iHire? [Video]

We offer two options for creating a professional, well-organized resume that sails past applicant tracking systems (ATS) and gets in front of hiring managers: Premium Resume Builder and Standard Resume Builder.

Our Premium Resume Builder is an AI-powered, step-by-step tool that makes creating a resume from scratch easy – even for job seekers who have never written a resume before.

Our intuitive wizard will walk you through the resume creation process, prompting you to first enter your contact information and answer a few yes or no questions. Based on your responses, we’ll suggest the best resume format for you.

Next, enter your work history, achievements, skills, education, and affiliations. You’ll be able to use AI-generated content along the way to provide more details – such as job summaries – effortlessly. Once your resume is built, you’ll see a preview and can make any additional changes before downloading the final version.

Our Standard Resume Builder is free for all Basic and Premium members. To use our Standard Resume Builder, you must first have created your Portfolio, detailing your work history, achievements, education, and credentials.

Once you have completed your Portfolio, select the green “Add” button next to “My Resumes” on your Portfolio, and choose the option, “Build from My Portfolio.” Our tool will walk you through creating your resume, step by step, based on a number of available templates. Once you've built your new resume, you can preview and save it so that it now appears under “My Resumes” in your Portfolio. From there, you can download a copy, edit it, run it through our Resume Review Tool, and/or begin using it to apply for jobs.
