Job Description

Are you a new or seasoned veterinarian looking for an exciting new challenge?  If so, we have a terrific opportunity for you!  Planned Pethood International, a non-profit, full-service clinic offering affordable vet care for dogs and cats, wants to expand our team.  Specifically, we’re looking for veterinarians who not only love treating and caring for animals but who want to make a real difference in the world.

Our new state-of-the-art facility is located in beautiful Conifer, Colorado—just a 15-minute drive from the intersection of C-470 & I-285 in Littleton—and offers everything from low-cost spay/neuters and walk-in vaccination clinics to dentals and soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.  Also, we provide dental x-rays, ultrasounds, bronchoscopes, endoscopes, therapeutic laser treatments and, starting in 2025, CT scans—all at an affordable cost.

At Planned Pethood International, we do not condone or perform economic euthanasias, so we strive to go above and beyond for our clients and their companion animals to provide excellent care but without breaking the bank.  Often, clients will arrive at our clinic after being turned away from other facilities due to lack of finances—we’re their last hope—and we never turn them away

In addition to the day-to-day operations at our clinic, as a non-profit, many of our Planned Pethood International staff also travels to different locations throughout Colorado and the surrounding states to provide low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinics for communities in need.  Those include several American Native Indian Reservations in Montana and South Dakota, and we also participate in annual spay/neuter campaigns in Mexico.

An added bonus to consider—if you have student loans, working at a non-profit like PPI may make you eligible for the student loan forgiveness program.

So, if you’re a highly motivated and energetic team player, dedicated to protecting veterinary medicine and willing to work hard in a fast-paced, fun and exciting environment, we want to meet you!  Please send/post your resume and we will be in touch with you soon.
