Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time, licensed or credentialed veterinary technician / VTS, or an experienced veterinary assistant to join our Oncology team. An oncology technician plays a crucial role in supporting veterinary oncologists and providing care for animals diagnosed with cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

Chemotherapy Treatment, administering medications including chemotherapy drugs, as prescribed by the veterinarian

Diagnostic support, imaging and laboratory

Collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver the highest level of care

Assist with the management of appointments and patient flow efficiency

Assist with clinical records and referral reports

Ability to provide emotional support to clients during difficult times

Licensed or credentialed veterinary technician, VTS, or experienced veterinary assistant

Enthusiastic about working in specialty medicine

Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Excellent communication skills, both with clients and the team, and referring veterinary hospitals

Proficient with computer systems and comfortable using technology
