About the Cardiology/Oncology Technician Role

We are looking to add a Cardiology/Oncology Technician to our growing hospital! This hybrid position will provide support in two departments .

In Cardiology , you will coordinate patient care, assist with diagnostics, and ensuring high-quality treatment plans. In Oncology , you will join a team providing compassionate care, administering treatments, and supporting specialized oncology procedures.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Monday & Tuesday (Cardiology) 6:30 AM 4:30 PM

Wednesday & Thursday (Oncology) 7:30 AM 5:30 PM

Compensation: Starting at $23/hour

What Youll Do

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in both the Cardiology and Oncology departments
  • Assist with diagnostics, treatments, and patient monitoring
  • Work closely with specialists and hospital staff to maintain seamless patient care
  • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and team members
  • Utilize Fear Free handling techniques to create a stress-free environment for patients
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in veterinary medicine (specialty experience preferred)
  • Current CVT/LVT/RVT preferred or educational equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and disease processes
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills
