Job DescriptionJob duties include, but are not limited to:
Veterinary Assistants play a vital role in our hospital, the foundation of which includes a friendly attitude and a self starting mindset. Some of the daily tasks are interacting with clients and their pets, cleaning, running diagnostic equipment, assisting the doctors, record keeping, and putting away inventory. We are looking for a punctual, friendly, compassionate person to help round out our team. This position may be cross-trained for the right person to help reception, as well.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

QualificationsWe're looking for:
- Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience-preferred
- A minimum of 1-year veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant- required
- Saturdays until 12pm- required
- Strong communication
- Compassionate and calm team-player
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
