Veterinary Internist (Veterinary Specialist)

A full-time veterinary internist is sought to join a dedicated team at an AAHA-accredited referral center, primary care facility, and teaching hospital with 24-hour emergency service. The hospital is excited to add a 4th Internal Medicine Specialist to their team. Located in a state-of-the-art, 43,000 square foot facility, the hospital is dedicated to providing the utmost care, compassion, and respect to clients and patients in an atmosphere that promotes healing. The positive culture within the practice fosters easy collaboration between departments, enhancing patient care and staff satisfaction.
With a staff of over 50 veterinarians, the hospital boasts specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency/Critical Care, Neurology, Cardiology, Oncology, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Zoo Medicine, Behavior, and Rehabilitation/Integrative Medicine. The hospital maintains a strong teaching culture, hosting a large class of rotating and specialty interns, as well as residents in multiple specialties.
The facility features nine state-of-the-art surgery suites (including suites dedicated to Neurology, Orthopedic, and minimally invasive Surgery), nineteen examination rooms, two medical procedure rooms, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, a 128 slice CT, a Medical Oncology suite (including a bone marrow transplant center), a Radiation Oncology suite housing a new Trilogy Unit with Eclipse Software, and a large Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation center.
