Role and Responsibilities: Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty (DCES), a 24-hour multi-specialty and emergency hospital, is excited to invite applications for a full-time Medical Director. Our growing team seeks a collaborative, friendly, and compassionate professional to provide medical leadership for our hospital, manage associate and lead veterinarians, and assure regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine is delivered to as many patients as possible in a way that is sustainable and efficient for our medical team. In partnership with the existing Hospital Leadership Team, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance of the hospital, preparing operating and capital budgets, as well as helping the hospital to achieve financial success and growth by modeling healthy business and medical practices.
