Wave Center for Veterinary Emergencies is the first and only dedicated 24/7 emergency and wellness center located in the heart of the Hamptons. Our mission is to deliver exceptional, high-quality emergency care with compassion, innovation, and excellence. As we prepare to open our state-of-the-art facility, we are seeking talented, motivated emergency veterinarians to join our founding team and grow with us.

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Emergency Veterinarians who are proficient, confident, and compassionate. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of emergency experience, excellent surgical and diagnostic skills, and a passion for providing outstanding patient and client care. You will work closely with a supportive team of veterinary professionals in a collaborative and modern environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency and critical care to a wide range of patients with professionalism and compassion.

• Perform emergency surgeries and procedures, including wound management, C-sections, GDV corrections, pyometra, etc.

• Manage complex medical cases, including diagnostics, stabilization, and hospitalization.

• Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients regarding treatment plans and patient updates.

• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

• Participate in maintaining high standards of medical quality, safety, and patient advocacy.

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

• DVM degree.

• Minimum 3 years of emergency veterinary experience required.

• Strong proficiency in emergency surgical skills.

• Excellent diagnostic, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Dedication to high-quality medicine, client education, and compassionate patient care.

• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining a positive team-centered approach.

• Valid New York State veterinary license.
