Millville Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned six-doctor practice located in Northern California (10 miles east of Redding, in rural Shasta County). We are seeking a Veterinarian to work Full-Time (3-10hr shifts) or Part-Time (2-10hr shifts). We offer a flexible schedule to all our Veterinarians, competitive compensation (sizable base + production without negative accrual for FT), no night-call or after-hour ERs, generous , and a signing bonus. We also offer a strong mentorship program.

Millville Veterinary Clinic is appointment-based, with appointments ranging from 40 to 60 minutes on average. Appointments may be made Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, and Saturday morning, 8am-12pm. Urgent care/ER exams fit in with the doctor's approval. We offer a dedicated 2-hour lunch block, 11:30am to 1:30pm for doctor lunch and case catch-up.

We have a support team consisting of 5 RVTs with varied experience ranging from 1 to 20 years, 9 veterinary assistants, and 7 receptionists with 3 to 4 scheduled per day. All doctors are scheduled with a minimum combination of either 2 vet assistants or RVTs.

We treat 97% Canine & Feline; and 3% all other species (including exotics and small farm animals). Strong interests in any of the following areas are a plus: Surgery, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry (including Dental X-ray), Radiology and Ultrasonography, Endoscopy, Oncology, and Traditional and/or Alternative Medicine, including Acupuncture.
