Frontier Vet Express was created by two experienced veterinarians and one exceptional entrepreneur. Our ownership team is Andrew Houser, DVM, Lindsay Howk, DVM and Tim Howk. The Houser’s and the Howk’s are like you. They’re leading busy lives and doing their best to balance family life, professional careers, and social events. Like you, they struggle with maintaining appointments during a busy work week. As experienced veterinarians, they also understand the impact that maintaining your pet’s wellness can have on the owner’s health. Out of the realization of this need for easy, affordable and accessible pet wellness care, the concept for Frontier Veterinary Express was born.

Frontier Vet Express is a sister company to Frontier Veterinary Clinic, an established and respected full service veterinary clinic in Abilene, Texas.

We also diagnose and treat skin conditions, ear infections, and gastrointestinal conditions such as lack of appetite, diarrhea, and vomiting. Our doctors and staff have years of experience in veterinary medicine and animal care. Frontier Vet Express does not offer surgery or advanced diagnostic tools, which allows us to keep our prices very affordable. If advanced diagnostics are needed, luckily we can refer you to Frontier Veterinary Clinic in Abilene, TX.
