Happy Tails Inc., located in Rock Falls IL, is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), limited admission no-kill organization dedicated to providing shelter and care to the homeless and neglected animals of Whiteside County. We see 50-200 cats and dogs per week. We provide a safe and healthy temporary shelter and seek loving, permanent homes to ensure the long-term welfare of the animals we serve. Through education and advocacy, we promote the humane treatment of companion animals and work toward reducing, and ultimately eliminating, pet overpopulation in the county through low-cost spay and neuter programs. Happy Tails was founded in 1987 and we provide service to the community in collaboration with Whiteside County Animal Control to safeguard public health and safety. We strive to promote the special bond between humans and their companion pets in securing forever homes for our animals.
