Title: Urgent Care Veterinarian and General Practitioner
We are excited to be expanding the PET Urgent Care practice to after hours on Monday – Thursday to complement the after-hours on Friday and on weekends.
PET Urgent Care will operate after the day practice closes—Monday - Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight, Saturdays from 1p.m. to 12 midnight, Sundays from 9 a.m. to 12 midnight. NO OVERNIGHTS! We offer competitive compensation plus a benefits package that includes overtime holiday pay, continuing education support, and eligibility to participate in our 401k and profit sharing. Additionally, there are opportunities for a management role for interested qualified candidates.

Positions Summary: Urgent Care/Emergency Veterinarian both full and part time
General Practitioner
Role & Responsibilities: Full-time or Part-time urgent care veterinarians are responsible for providing excellent medical, surgical, and critical care to companion animals, after-hours and weekends within a team environment.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience preferred in urgent care/emergency practice and caring for trauma patients
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively to clients, record detailed medical notes, collaborate within a team environment, and manage referrals when necessary.
• Overall positive “can-do” attitude and enthusiastic approach
• Ability to clearly and effectively explain recommended medical treatments and procedures to clients, including estimates for procedures and final charges after procedures
• Demonstrated technical skill and ability to practice high-quality veterinary medicine in a fast-paced environment
