Full-Time Veterinarian position available in beautiful Beaufort, SC. Privately-owned, well-established Veterinary practice seeks a self-motivated Veterinarian with a sense of humor and a positive attitude to join our professional, friendly, animal-loving team. After 25 years caring for our community’s pets, we’ve expanded to include a second location to provide even more compassionate, state-of-the-art pet care and services. Comprehensive veterinary care services including preventive, diagnostic, surgical, and dental services, as well as emergency, pet acupuncture, and boarding. Our facility includes Digital X-Ray, Digital Dental X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Laser Therapy.

Located on the SE coast, within an hour’s drive of both Charleston and Savannah, Beaufort is a beautiful area in which to live. The warm climate is perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities and our proximity to arts and culture means an hour’s drive brings even more to explore!

The ideal candidate will be dedicated and self-motivated with high standards for patient care. We have a friendly work environment and excellent support staff. Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience. Education and Licence Requirements:
DVM or equivalent from an accredited university
Licensed or the ability to become licensed to practice in the state of SC

Experience Requirements:
1 to 2 years of experience as a D.V.M. in a practice

Personal Requirements:
Must be able to perform general medicine: wellness exams, internal medicine work-up, soft tissue surgery (spay and neuters, mass removals, exploratory laparotomy, cystotomy, etc), dental extractions, laceration repair & more
Responsible for patient follow-up communication
Professional comportment and appearance
Excel in a fast-paced environment
Excellent Communication Skills
Positive, Friendly attitude
Team Player - the ability to work as a team member as well as a primary care provider.
Adaptable - ability to move between 2 practices
Perform basic computer skills - Cornerstone Veterinary software a plus
Maintain timely appointment schedule
