Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral (DCVR) is a specialty hospital and 24-hour emergency center providing advanced veterinary medical care to the DC Metropolitan Area since 2003. DCVR was originally founded by Dr. Kathy Arrington and Dr. Luis Braz-Ruivo to provide specialized veterinary services in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. At present, DCVR's team has grown to include 3 board-certified specialists in Internal Medicine, 1 board-certified specialist in Radiology, 1 board-certified specialist in Neurology, 1 board-certified specialist in Oncology, 5 ER clinicians, and 1 Critical Care specialist. Working paw-in-hand, we continue to strive every day to provide individualized, quality veterinary care from our entire team to our clients and patients, and look forward to continued growth and expansion of our hospital in the coming years.
