Chino Hills Urgent Care Pet Clinic is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to help spearhead our new clinic that opened August 12th of 2019. This is a great opportunity for either a seasoned veterinarian or newer graduate to create an environmental to caters to your unique way of practicing veterinary medicine. Our clinic is unique in its scope of practice and clientele. We are what you may call a “hybrid” practice, providing both emergency and non-emergency services to patients. Our hours are 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. , 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Chino Hills Urgent Care Pet Clinic is a new-build facility of approximately 2,500 square feet. Everything is completely new, from the walls, floors, and cabinetry to diagnostic imaging, IDEXX in house blood analyzer suite, surgical lights, multiparameter monitors, cages, kennels/runs, electrocautery, etc. We are located in a busy shopping center and can be seen easily from the freeway. We offer a competitive base salary, medical and dental insurance (we pay full medical, you will not have to match any of it), paid time off, 401K, uniform allowance, $3,500 annual CE allowance for licenses, dues, conference expenses, and a sizable signing bonus. Salary and salary type is highly negotiable, whether than means salary alone, production based, or a combination of the two. We are looking for a doctor who is either competent in all of the more common surgeries seen in both general practice and emergency medicine or, at the same time, we are willing to work with a doctors who is still getting their feet wet in that arena. We want an associate who has excellent bedside manner along with providing the best medical care. We are looking for someone who embodies what it is to "practice" medicine, ie someone who is always looking to better themselves, both as a doctor and as an individual. This is not a practice that settles for complacency. We expect all of our staff to push themselves to be better than they were the day before. As an associate veterinarian, you truly will have the freedom to practice exactly how you see fit. You likely will be working 3 days per week. If you want, you will have the opportunity to work a fourth day during the week, with additional pay. We would also consider someone who only wants to work two shifts per week, which would be 24 - 28 hrs. It comes down to if we are a good fit for you and if you are a good fit for us.
