SPCA Florida is a progressive, professional and fast-paced 9-doctor, non-profit facility making an impact throughout our community. We are an integrated practice with a diverse caseload including wellness care, general medicine, shelter medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and dentistry.
There are also ample opportunities to participate in local and statewide community events that support our mission, which is to provide quality, affordable care to as many pets and people as possible.
SPCA Florida is located in central Florida. Close to beaches, Orlando and Tampa. In 2018, the city of Lakeland was rated America’s “Best Dog-Friendly Small City” by National Geographic. Our campus sits on 6 acres and includes a high volume medical center staffed by 9 full-time Veterinarians with a complete surgery center. Our animal shelter sees 4,000 animals which pass through the doors yearly and is staffed by 2 Veterinarians.
