VCA East Mill Plain Animal Hospital is a small animal practice located in Vancouver, Washington. We have been accredited since 2010 by the American Animal Hospital Associated (AAHA) and are among only 15% of veterinary practices throughout the United States and Canada that have made this voluntary commitment to excellence, being evaluated on stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of veterinary medicine—from pain management and patient care to team training and medical recordkeeping—and are continuously updated to keep accredited practice teams at the forefront of the profession.
Our hospital practices a Fear Free philosophy, we strive to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety and stress in pets by inspiring and educating our team who cares for them. The majority of our staff is Level 2 Fear Free Certified. We have some great tips and practices to help alleviate stress starting from the trip to our facility and while your pet is here.
Our veterinarians have substantial experience in emergency medicine and are proficient in stabilizing critical cases. In certain instances critical patients will be referred to a 24-hour facility for continued care or assessment. We practice the highest standards of veterinary medicine, anesthesia, and surgery. We employ a highly skilled team of support staff to assist in the care of your pet(s).
We offer extended office hours, Monday-Friday 7am-8pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am-5pm.
