We’ve assembled the board–certified specialties your pet needs and deserves, in a setting that’s medically advanced and always compassionate. We also have 24-hour emergency services, all under one roof, for your peace of mind.

We drive ourselves to exceed your expectations while treating every pet as if he or she was our own. For referrals, we work closely with your veterinarian and, as a team, diagnose the condition and plan a course of treatment with careful consideration for quality of life.

Because our focus is on pets’ more advanced medical needs, we do not offer these services: spay and neuter services, teeth cleaning, vaccinations and immunizations and boarding. These are areas of expertise for primary veterinarians.

CARE honors their promise of a fun culture, constantly hosting parties and organizing team activities. A few of my favorites are: • Grilled Cheese Day: Betsy Sayer comes to CARE and we set up several grilled cheese stations in our conference room. We spend the morning making a variety of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. She even makes cute forms people can fill out to “Build Your Own” sandwich. She’ll bring special cheeses and breads, toppings and a special homemade tomato soup. It’s incredible! • Team Building Activities: We are put in small groups, sometimes with people we work with and sometimes with people we don’t. We then decide on a team outing or event. Two years ago, my group went ziplining in Asheville and last year we went to an Escape Room! It is a great way to spend time with my CARE family far away from the workplace. It gives us things to talk about for weeks, bonding us and creating memories for a lifetime. • Care-Versary: Every year we celebrate CARE’s birthday with some sort of group outing. It’s always different and fun and a great way to mingle with co-workers. The amazing people that up working that day get a special gift from CARE as well. Everyone is included somehow!
