Are you a compassionate veterinarian who likes to have fun while working hard? South Sioux Animal Hospital would like to meet you! We are seeking a third full-time veterinarian to join our well-established, growing, small animal practice. This is the perfect opportunity for the experienced practitioner, but we also encourage outstanding new graduates to apply - we’re happy to provide mentorship! At South Sioux Animal Hospital, we have a team mentality, and doctors often collaborate on case management. We also have excellent relationships with other clinics in the area.

Veterinarian Responsibilities:

• Wellness Checks
• Promoting preventative care by advocating and
administering routine vaccinations, and by educating
clients on positive diet and lifestyle choices for pets.
• Sick pet diagnostics, including imaging (digital
radiographs, ultrasound), bloodwork, etc.; and
appropriate treatments
• Soft Tissue Surgery
• Improving patients’ dental health by performing
checkups, and cleaning and extracting diseased
teeth.
• Ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and
relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
• Maintaining patients’ medical records.

Veterinarian Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
• Appropriate state licensure.
• Strong affinity for pets and their owners
• Ability to make prudent decisions regarding the
welfare and well-being of animals, and practice
evidence-based medicine.
• Outstanding people and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Available to work extended hours when the need
arises
