I am truly looking for an associate to work along side me and share the workload. I will not ask you to work harder than myself. Our schedule will average approximately 40 hours weekly for each of us. We have a dedicated, hard working staff to help us. If you are looking for a practice where you will really get to know the clients and their pets you will be happy here. I have been a small animal veterinarian for 37 years and still really enjoy practice. I would prefer an associate with experience, but I am willing to mentor a new graduate.
Emergencies are referred to nearby Blue Pearl Emergency & Specialty Practice in Christiana, DE. Base salary is 100K plus a generous production bonus. Guaranteed $130,000. Previous associate grossed over 164,000 in 2020.
Elkton is a great area to live and practice. We are along Interstate 95 approximately one hour north of Baltimore and one hour south of Phildelphia. University of Delaware is just a few miles away. Fair Hill Nature Reserve and Equine Center is very close for fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. Our practice is surrounded by horse pasture and woods. The Chesapeake Bay is in close proximity for boating.
