Veterinary Technician or Assistant

Veterinary technician/assistant wanted for veterinary surgical practice. Mobile Animal Surgical Care (M.A.S.C.) has been providing surgical services to veterinary practices in the south central region of Indiana since 2016. We provide specialty orthopedic, as well as some soft tissue, services that would otherwise require clients/patients to travel over an hour for care. Mobile Animal Surgical Care is equipped with a custom built mobile surgery trailer that includes digital radiography, in-clinic blood machines, oxygen generator, digital monitoring equipment, and patient warming devices.

M.A.S.C. is currently looking for an experienced full time technician or veterinary assistant to join our practice four days a week (Monday-Thursday). Responsibilities will include, communicating with clients and referring clinics, assisting with patient examinations, blood draw, preparation of patients for surgery, anesthetic monitoring, postoperative patient care, and care/cleaning of surgical equipment. Guaranteed 40 hours per week minimum with competitive pay, paid time off, and paid holidays. Work hours are 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Thursday.
