Job Summary: The Kennel Technician supervises outdoor play yards, cleans facility, and bathes dogs.

Maintains control and watches a large group of off leash dogs. Addresses behavioral issues immediately without the use of force or physical interaction. Keeps play yards clean of messes at all times, and cleans dog lodges and the resort. Completes daily and weekly cleaning assignments to maintain a clean, safe environment. Follows proper cleaning procedures and use of chemicals to ensure a safe environment for both people and dogs. Bathes dogs of all sizes without direct supervision. Clips/trims dog toenails with the assistance of another team member. Follows the feeding, medication, and allergy lists, without exception, ensuring all health standards are met.

Additional Department Summary: No phone policy in the yard, only a walkie. Cleaning is a big part of the job!

Required Minimum Qualifications: Love for dogs. Ability to work well with a team. Enjoys physical labor.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Experience with dog behavior to determine if dogs are suitable for daycare or not, and to place daycare dogs in groups. Ability to bathe any size dog without direct supervision. Ability to clip, or use a Dremel, to trim dog toenails with the assistance of another team member. Ability to understand and follow the feeding, medication, and allergy lists, without exception, and to ensure that all health standards are met.
