September 2019 Veterinary Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

Our September 2019 veterinary industry data showed some interesting changes compared to August 2019. Total active veterinary jobs decreased from ~19.2K to ~14.8K while new veterinary jobs added increased from ~11.6K to ~12K. Veterinarians were the most popular career title last month in terms of total active as well as new jobs. Petco also had the most openings with 1,293. Of note, the average job ad age decreased significantly from 72 days to 44 days.

Veterinary job seekers on iHireVeterinary increased by ~3.8K with front office staff, kennel attendant, and veterinary technician as the top 3 career titles.
