Business Spotlight: Lap of Love

Lap of Love is the nation's largest network of veterinarians solely dedicated to end-of-life veterinary care, providing in-home euthanasia, in-home hospice, telehospice, and pet loss support services. Their veterinarians and support staff offer compassionate, open-minded guidance and grief support to pet parents who are making end-of-life decisions for their pets, whether this be humane euthanasia or continued medical care in the form of hospice.

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Lap of Love services 36 states across the U.S. with a team of over 375 doctors and 300 support staff members.

We recently chatted with Dr. Leanne Mathew, Veterinary Career Specialist at Lap of Love, about the growing organization’s company culture and employment opportunities.

We have flexible, two-to-five-day workweeks and an average of three to four appointments per day. This shift in mindset and pace enables our doctors to possess the coveted work-life balance we all aspire to achieve and begin and finish each workday with a clear purpose.
