Veterinary Technician Jobs in Elkton, MD

A Veterinary Technician plays a crucial role in the veterinary industry, providing essential support to veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals with various health issues. They are responsible for performing a variety of procedures, such as drawing blood, administering medication, preparing animals and equipment for surgery, and assisting during surgical procedures. Additionally, they should have strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine love for animals. They should also be capable of handling stressful situations and making quick decisions in emergency situations.
