Veterinarian

Two doctor veterinary practice in Athens, Georgia, needs a full time or part time Veterinarian.

This is a mixed animal clinic performing general practice procedures including:  preventative health care, radiography, ultrasound, dental, and surgery.  The selected candidate will maintain the in-house appointments, and help with the large animal (on the farm) calls as needed.

               Duties include:

                              Examine animals and check their health status

                              Vaccinate animals

                              Diagnose illnesses and develop the best treatment plan

                              Prescribe medications

                              Dress wounds of injured animals              

                              Perform surgeries

                              Advise pet owners on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and general care.

Both small and mixed animal practitioners will be considered.

Recent graduates will be considered same as those with experience.
