Rehab and Acpuncture Veterinarian

Walking Paws Rehab is seeking a dedicated Rehab and Acupuncture Veterinarian to join our team in Denver and Boulder, Colorado.

Join our amazing practice in Denver, CO with the best and most supportive team ever. We are a 12 doctor stand alone rehab practice in need of another veterinarian as we grow our new Denver location and have 2 amazing doctors about to go on maternity leave at our Boulder location. It really is one of the happiest places to work, with a lot of collaboration and team decision making. Low case load. Hour long lunch breaks. Lots of laughter in our work day. Caring and dedicated clients! Beautiful practice. Spa like environment. We really did build the dream practice to work at.

Our practice has an emphasis on thorough training and continuing education. We do weekly team and case rounds. We provide additional services such as blood work, medications, radiographs, diagnostic ultrasound, joint and tendon injections. We perform a lot of orthotics, prosthetics, and wheelchair fittings. Our practice is very calm and peaceful. We emphasize quality of medicine and not quantity. Each doctor sees about 6-9 patients a day. Our day ends with feeling good about the quality time and care we are able to give to each patient and ourselves.

Job Expectations:

• Provide expert care and treatment for animals with orthopedic, neurologic, and soft tissue injuries
• Utilize innovative physical therapy techniques and pain management strategies
• Perform acupuncture treatments to support animal rehabilitation
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure optimal care outcomes
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and rehabilitation exercises
• Perform  initial evaluations and treat patients.
• Perform exercises, hydrotherapy, laser, ultrasound, electrotherapy, shockwave, acupuncture, massage, stretches, mobilizations, and regenerative medicine.

Salary:

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Salary is dependent on how many appointment one would like to see in their workday.
