What Youll Do

As a Veterinary Technician Anesthesia Nurse at MVA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients during procedures, working directly with our board-certified anesthesiologists. In this position, you will:

  • Induce, monitor, troubleshoot, and recover anesthetized patients
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and specialty teams on both critical and non-critical cases
  • Perform venipuncture, laboratory testing, and proper patient restraint
  • Assist with the positioning and capturing of diagnostic radiographs
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, both verbally and in writing
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to seamless patient care
  • Ensure safe, Fear Free handling of all patients
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where attention to detail and composure are key

Anticipated Schedule

  • Wednesday-Saturday, 12:00 PM 10:00 PM
  • Please note that some holidays are required.

Compensation

  • Starting at $26.00/hr , which will include a 15% shift differential

Requirements

What Were Looking For

Were seeking Veterinary Technicians who excel in a dynamic setting and find fulfillment in helping pets in need. You likely have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of veterinary experience , including anesthesia monitoring
  • CVT, LVT, RVT , or educational equivalent preferred
  • Broad knowledge of small animal medicine, including pharmacology, diagnostics, and disease processes
  • Proficient in anesthesia protocols, monitoring, and patient recovery
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedication to Fear Free, low-stress handling practices
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
