Established in 1977, Shakespeare Veterinary Hospital is a progressive, well-equipped primarily small animal practice, with a small percentage of exotic, avian, and reptile patients, located in Stratford Connecticut, in coastal Fairfield County. We provide passionate pet care through wellness, diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental services.

Our hospital is equipped with the latest in diagnostic and patient-monitoring technology, including in-house laboratory (chemistry, hematology, and urinalysis), microscopy with imaging capability, Tonopen, digital EKG, high-definition oscillometric blood pressure, SPO2, PVI, positive pressure ventilation, digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, and video-guided endoscopy. Additionally, we are in close proximity to after-hours emergency hospitals and referral centers.
