County Animal Hospital is a high quality, 50-year AAHA accredited, Family Friendly, Pet Approved small animal practice. Our goal is -- and has always been -- to deliver exceptional care that promotes a lifetime of good health for our patients while also supporting the needs of the people who love them. Located in Rockland County, NY, CAH is a privately owned, one-doctor practice. Our rich history and heritage dates back to 1933. Robert Weiner, VMD, Diplomate ABVP (canine/feline), has been here since 1981. County Animal Hospital is a busy, full-service animal hospital providing medical, surgical, dental, nutritional and behavioral care, as well as boarding (both regular boarding and medical boarding). Our patients include dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, rabbits and other small mammals. We strive to provide a welcoming, compassionate and fear free environment for our patients and their owners. We provide the best possible care and to help foster the bond between people and their pets. Dr. Weiner and our licensed veterinary technicians are all Certified Fear Free® Professionals. We are aware that veterinary visits can be frightening and stressful for pets. We take care to manage and minimize this and work to make visits to our hospital comfortable for pets and their owners. We emphasize pet owner education and disease prevention.
