Cove Animal Rescue is a not for profit organization that strives for a cage-free environment to help eliminate the fear and stresses that make an animal difficult to present for adoption.
Cove Animal Rescue has expanded the shelter creating a cage-free colony-like wing for the cats that includes windows, sky lights and cat doors to a screened-in area. The floor surface was selected for easy cleaning; climbing structures added for fun and chairs for the public.
Cove Animal Rescue has completed the construction of beautiful outdoor play areas for the dogs.
Cove Animal Rescue has accepted local feral kittens, socialized and neutered them, and adopted them out; the unsocialized adults are neutered, and returned to their original location, in an effort to control this population.
Cove Animal Rescue consists of a Board comprised of individuals with professional and managerial experiences of diverse backgrounds, and is supported by advisory committees for specific issues related to animal welfare.
