FM 1488 Animal Medical Center is a small animal hospital dedicated to the care of cats and dogs exclusively. We are located in the southwest corner of Montgomery County which is situated just northwest of Houston and a direct neighbor to The Woodlands.
We are very proud of our AAHA certification we have maintained since 2015 and our state of the art facility. As an AAHA facility we provide our staff with state of the art equipment that allows them to diagnose and treat patients according to the most current industry standards of care. This includes 6 exam rooms, two surgery suites, two treatment areas, along with a dedicated dental room. Our equipment includes Digital Radiology, Digital Dental Radiology, In House Chemistry, CBC, U/A analyzers, K- Laser Class IV and MR4 Activet Laser, Dentalaire dental machines, Cornerstone Practice Management software, My Lab ultrasound, Baja warners, IV Fluid pumps, IV Fluid warmers and more.
In order to support the community we live in and work with, we provide complementary veterinary care for the working K-9 units of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Precinct 4 & Precinct 5, the Fire Marshal office, and Conroe Police Department. Most recently we have added a Texas Wildlife and Parks unit as well. In addition, we are an externship site to the TAMU Vet students, multiple Veterinary Technology programs, and most of our local high school FFA programs.
