Business Spotlight - LCB Senior Living

LCB Senior Living, LLC is one of the nation’s fastest-growing developers and operators of Independent, Assisted, and Memory Care Living communities for seniors. Since 2011, LCB has provided the highest caliber of hospitality and service for residents, and their families, guests, and all others who interact with their communities and associates.

With 29 locations in the Northeast, LCB has an average of 150 job openings at any given time. The majority of these positions include hospitality roles (like chefs, servers, housekeepers, dishwashers), but LCB also hires nursing and healthcare professionals, customer service personnel, administrators, and managers.

Aiming to attract more qualified applicants with an industry-focused approach to talent acquisition, LCB turned to iHire. We recently spoke with Brian Robinson, Director of Talent Acquisition & Associate Engagement at LCB, for a glimpse into LCB’s hiring initiatives and company culture.

iHire: Hi Brian! We’re excited to welcome LCB Senior Living aboard as one of our valued Job Wrap customers. Can you tell our job seekers a little bit more about LCB?

Brian Robinson: LCB is senior living done differently – we’re more in line with a fine resort. We offer all the amenities and services of a five-star hotel and are focused on helping seniors live their best lives. Our upscale, modern, luxury senior living communities are not only rewarding to work at, but the culture is amazing!

iHire: Speaking of company culture, what would you say makes your organization a good place to work?

BR: LCB Senior Living’s company culture is a simple one: good times, good friends, and great care! Our associates have a great time being engaged with our residents, families, friends, and other associates while providing care and services to our customers. At LCB, you’ll make friends at work that believe in living life to the fullest!

iHire: Do you have any specific hiring goals in the coming months?

BR: We would like to create more job opportunities for folks outside of the senior living industry and let them know that their current skillsets in hospitality are perfect for LCB Senior Living.

iHire: That’s great news for the hospitality workers who have been displaced due to COVID-19! How do you hope iHire will help you achieve your goals?

BR: We hope iHire will introduce us to a new pool of qualified candidates from the hospitality field.
